Married with two children, one in high school, one in college, one in grad school on her own out in the real world.  My lovely and gracious wife is a professional body builder (100% natural).  If I trained half as hard as she does, I really would be fast.  I make my living as a self employed geophysicist.

What a difference a couple of weeks can make, especially if you run a smarter race.  New PR.  It is only a minute 30 seconds faster than my BQ time but ould make a difference.  We will find out next week.

Thanks to the crew for the encouragement and to Marlin for running with me for the first half.  He still posted a great time and maybe has something to think about regarding negative splits.  He must have run that second half pretty fast.

I basically took two weeks off following Pocatello although I had a field project that worked me pretty hard this week.  I got a couple of short runs in but did not post them.

That's awesome to go down there two weeks later and PR. Congrats! Good luck getting into Boston too, I think you should have no problem.
